favorite grocery store aisle

The tea aisle in any grocery store is my weakness. I spend way too much time browsing through all the teas.

Today, all I wanted was Stash Fusion Green and White tea but they were out of it! I've been really obsessed with it lately and I only have 4 bags left so I really need to track some down and fast!

But I did come across some very peculiar teas today... laxative teas. I didn't know there was such a thing. Weird. At least they're organic.

Wattlebird Blog

Annie and I have finally released our joint blog on the world! We plan on covering everything... knitting, our aspirations to be tea connoisseurs, Lost, party planning, yoga, and whatever inspires us in that moment. Sadly, Annie has banned me from writing on my favorite topics--hunting and motorcycles. Even though it will be missing those two crucial topics in today's society, I promise you it will be worthwhile to read.

"I'm not a paper cup..." yup, I'm still obsessed

Today was the first time I actually really used my "I'm not a paper cup" cup. My school offers free hot water so I've been making mass amounts of tea in it all day long.

  • green tea
  • fusion white & green tea
  • jasmine tea
  • jasmine green tea

After all, I do have 11 hours of class today so I really need all the tea I can get!  Seriously, you have to go buy one! They are a necessity for life. Honestly.

You can find them at Urban Outfitters, through Amazon.com, at random coffee shops, and at a million other places, I'm sure.  I also stole about a million cup cosies from Panera to use with it because it looked naked.

"I'm not a paper cup..."

Finally, two of my favorite things together... hot tea and sustainability.

Today I bought a "I'm not a paper cup..." mug. It was quite pricey at just over $18.00 but I felt it was worth the money. Buy one. It will reduce your need for paper cups, which only end up being thrown away. Take a small setp to reducing your carbon footprint, and alleviate guilt.

According to www.nigelsecostore.com:

  • Despite introducing a discount for using your own mug, Starbucks hands out 50,000 paper cups a day! Although their paper cups are made from recycled material, they cannot be recycled again because of the wax coating that holds the fluid in the cup. This means that 18.25 million Starbucks' paper cups are thrown away every year and end up in landfills.

Harry Potter Tea

I went to this tea house called TeaHaus in Ann Arbor this weekend to have a tea party with some of my high school friends and our moms. While browsing through their millions of teas, we came across this one. There is obviously a Harry Potter nerd working there.
